Attending the WTN Conference 2013

An art project by my friend Mark Read, that I helped finance, was nominated for the World Technology Award 2013, which was a good excuse to attend Jim Clark’s famous conference. We didn’t win, but what an amazing event. An awesome day and evening in its truest sense. I loved talking to so many inspiring people and learning about human achievements. One of the people I really enjoyed talking to tremendously was Bill Borucki, the principal investigator for the Kepler space mission. He recently discovered the fact that there are thousands of potentially habitable planets in our Galaxy. A really fun and down-to-earth person to hang out with.
